This unfolding spectacle is definitely not funny any more. Not sure how heavy drinking or any of her other habits exactly contributed to this, but that's really awful for someone that young.

Quite recently I have been enjoying Alice Martineau's 2002 debut album 'Daydreams'.
Its a very enjoyable pop album showing a lot of promise for the singer/songwriter.

Knowing nothing about Alice Martineau and wondering if she had recorded any further albums I was very saddened to learn that she had died (aged just 30), within a year of releasing the album, from Cystic Fibrosis.

However the album had fulfilled a long held ambition for Alice.

I think it's more what if Darren Hayes was trying to be Placebo. I like the tunes but like both DH and Placebo the voice leaves me a bit cold....
