Can anyone help me track this film down - if it even exists !! Years and years ago, when I was just a nipper (yes, that long ago !) I missed 'Bridge To Terabithia' when it was released to the cinema last year but have now picked up a copy on dvd for a fiver in the current HMV sale.
Its not quite what I was expecting from the makers of the Narnian Chronicle films but its proved all the better for it.

The fantasy element has been kept well and truly in check as the film instead focus on the developing friendship between 12 year olds Jess (the boy) and Leslie (the girl) and how children have to cope...

I'm surprised there hasn't been a post about this movie yet. I didn't get to see it in the cinema at the time so it's only now that I watched the DVD.

If ever there was a movie that didn't call for a sequel it's the brilliant Donnie Darko. But ofcourse Hollywood has decided it does.
s.Darko follows Samantha, Donnie's younger sister and takes place in 1995. Frank the rabbit is back too. Donnie Darko's director, Richard Kelly is not involved in any way.

I've just discovered that this great film is finally available on DVD, albeit Region 1 which means I can't play it here in the UK.

Does anyone know whether there is a region 2 version available anywhere, or even a pre-recorded PAL video version?
