			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve been trowelling through my John Wyndham collection over the past few weeks and it reminded me how much I love his book The Kraken Wakes. The
absolutely terrofying prospect of the ice caps being melted by an alien body, thus leaving Great Britain (and of course) the rest of the planet submerged. Some
breathtaking details of London falling to the ever rising sea levels. In particular his description of an oceanic Trafalgar Square moved me!

and captivated by the heartwarming tales of Moomintroll and his friends and family, and Jansson&#39;s charming illustrations. I later introduced my partner to
them, and he enjoyed reading them to his little girl as bedtime stories, when she came to stay. I got rid of them in a clear-out when we moved, but I recently
