Got a text at 4.40pm yesterday from my daughter telling me to put Radio One on as Kate was going to be played on the Ferne and Regie request show. Sure enough it was being played. Even Regie couldn't get over playing Kate Bush on Radio One. How times have changed.

Last nights edition of BBC1 politics show 'THIS WEEK' played out (end credits) with Wuthering Heights!!!!
I think this was in reference to British Prime Minister Gordan Brown's comparison to being like Heathcliffe!
I never expected to hear a Kate Bush song aired on a political debate show.

Hallo, this morning I heard that there will be a kind of party in Amsterdam on the first of august to celebrate Kate's 50th birthday.
It's organised by the Dutch fanclub with the cooperation of EMI. There will be a Dutch singer who calls herself "The Dutch Kate Bush", she will sing on this evening. I never heard her sing yet but she seems to be very good. People can also write their birthday wishes for Kate in a book, and this book will be given to Kate by EMI....

Just caught Nokia's Green Room yesterday - the premise of the show is that you put a diverse bunch of artists and bands together in a room and get them to talk and jam with each other prior to them being called out to perform for a waiting audience. It's quite good and they have some interesting artists taking part, such as Robyn (who is of course a massive Kate fan) and Santogold.

Yesterday I heard a bit of Eat The Music at the end of the Stephanie Miller show. Probably a regular occurrence, though I wouldn't know, as I frankly can't stand Stephanie Miller--probably in sync with her politically, but her style just sets my teeth on edge. But it was cool to hear Kate on the radio. The tune is so familiar that I didn't even think about it at first, but then I said, hey wait, I never heard that on the radio before.

OMG I'm sat here writing a report for work with Emmerdale on in the background when Kate's dulcet tones ring out. Wonderful. It was used in relation to the swapped baby story as both sets of parents were waiting outside of court.
