Fears that the Half Moon, Putney, could become a gastropub after current tenant leaves. One of London's most famous live music pubs faces an uncertain future as a gig venue and could become a gastropub. The Half Moon, in Putney, South London, has hosted the likes of The Rolling Stones, U2, Small Faces, Kate Bush and Kasabian.

"Putney does not need somewhere else to eat." But there could still be hope for the Half Moon as a gig...

Kate got a couple of mentions over the weekend : 'Harry Hill's TV Burp' showed a clip from a programme that featured a writer called Kate Bush - Harry's comment was, "She's changed since Wuthering Heights." In another programme, about architecture, a snatch of 'Pi' was played.

In the December 2009 issue of Sound+Vision magazine (a US publication, soundandvisionmag.com) are pieces on new surround releases by King Crimson and Porcupine Tree. Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree did all these mixes, and listed 20 albums he'd like to redo in surround - including Hounds of Love. Friday October 30th at 9pm on ITV (aka Channel 3 in UK ) hit British comedy show 'Benidorm' played TMWTCIHE.
I understand this isn't the first time Kates music has been featured in the show, so perhaps the writer is a Kate Bush fan!

I thought this would maybe be interesting for Kate Bush fans: A new short film called "Mítt Rúm" (My Room) by Heiðrik á Heygum (Faroe Islands) is being shown in film festivals at the moment. The short film is very much inspired from the song "Deeper Understanding" by Kate Bush.
So far the film has won for best picture at the NUFF festival for best film...
