We're going to have to start serious work on the book within days. The real work to start with will be capturing the material in the early issues (1-42) in electronic form. Some pages will be scanable, but some will not. Some may have to be retyped. Lot of work there. Just inspired by the thought of holding a copy of the book in my hands. It's quite emotional in a way going back through all the old material. Today for example I was dealing with the announcement of the first Wuthering Hike in HomeGround 12 - April 1984, so this years Hike will be the 25th Anniversary. I know it will be a lot of hard work, but I'm sure it will be worth it. I cherish my Homegrounds. That familiar envelope comes through the door, and brings a smile to my face for the rest of the day. The first thing I do is open it and then have a quick flick through, and then once I've read it properly, it gets neatly filed with all the others. If you want to use any of my pics that I've sent in over the years, you'd be more than welcome. It would be easy to email you scans if you want anything, so let me know. You guys have been so dedicated, and it must have been so difficult at times, to produce something during Kate's quiet times. Thank you xxx
