But this time it was not intended.
This reminds me of something similar - did you ever experience the phenomenon where people constantly keep harping on about
some weak spot of you. Obviously unconsciously when they touch weak spots they really can't know about without paranormal
abilities. Dropping clangers, putting their foot in. The weak spot maybe the "trauma" here, and unrelated people happily step in
to repeat it for you. Hm, I think I see your raised eyebrow now, Shane ;-)
The trauma repeating becomes most obvious if really serious events are involved, that "earn" to be named trauma,
unless we want to weaken the term. But I think the same principle applies for "smaller" problems. The severity of a problem
is subjective, and you can't always just blame it on the wimpiness of the person. (Dictionary also suggests "wussiness" ;-)
Mondo could have been traumatized by the serious car accident.
The job problem was the reverse case, which I have not yet talked about. I could *speculate* that there is a similar mechanism,
that repeats positive situations, in this case getting an urgently needed job just in time.
I think I can see your building of thoughts, Shane. It's quite solid and that makes it hard to "attack".
And I don't really want to decompose your building. It's good to have a solid building.
Maybe you could say I'm trying to build a different building, with partly unknown building blocks - it is harder to achieve, and maybe it is even foolish. Owners of completed, solid buildings like you watch the struggle and very predictably laugh their ass off.
Don't Take Anything Personally: Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.
