Debs, did you hear the 'Fear of Flying' album? Even better than The Desire Path. Stunning.

Wow, the drum beat reminds me of a track fom The Desire Path but Im not sure which one.
Colin has an amazing voice, reminisant of Bowie but with an edge that I cant really define. I love the way this particular track seems to have many diferent voice characters on it and I love the speed at which it travels too, its like you're on a very fast train journey going through tunnels etc. He deserves to be such a star you know in the music world, he deserves so much more recognition. An incredible talent. No, I havent heard the Fear of flying album, after hearing this 'Head' track I really must get myself some more Lloyd Tucker stuff, once you start listening to it the more you need more input of his stuff. The Desire Path ws a lovely gift from you Ian, thankyou so much for introducing me to the world that is Lloyd Tucker, its a great world to be in!!!! love Debs xxxxx

OH my God I can't cope. I have yet to hear the Desire Path as I'm too busy loving Fear of Flying. He has a Bowiesque voice and at times a Lou Reed
sound. I'm loving it. Thanks for making me aware of him Ian. So that's two albums to look forward to. I can see my Christmas list already!!

The next cd will be pretty acoustic, I cant tell you how I know this but I think you are going to love it Ian!!!!
Have been listening to both The desire Path and Fear today a lot, the guy is a genius. Looking forward to the new cd I will put my order in soon. So reminds me of a cross between Bowie and the wonderful Julian Cope. His poetry is just sooo good too, by that I mean his lyrics. Found myself dancing around a lot today whilst doing the housework to Desire Path!!! love Debs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Awwww..... brilliant. So glad you both like Fear of Flying.
I think he sounds most Lou Reed-like on Saxaphone Song, an anti-Saxaphone song. And very funny lyrics: Now the saxophone is an ad. mans friend With a b lowjob mouthpiece, seductive bends Breathy and mellow or squeaking mad It's ideally suited to tuneless jazz So if your selling jeans or student banking A saxophone's as good as wanking The liberated chick, the smooth young guy The saxophone squeals (as) she unzips his fly Debs, if you have inside information, I will have to come up to Leeds, tie you to a chair and wave chocklit seductively close to your nose......

Head is wonderful isnt it Lisa.
Please please order a copy of the Desire Path though, I cant recommend it enough it really is a very beautiful album. I still think his voice has a touch of Julian Cope in there too, which IMHO is a lovely thing to have a touch of!!!! I just cant wait to get my copy of Beside Myself, Im beside myself fretting away for it to plop through the letterbox. Yes, Ian is a vunderbar man isnt he for making us all very aware of Mr Colin, I think Ian should pack up his nursing and become Mr Colins PA and publicity person, he does such a good job on here!!! love Debs xxxxxxxxxxxxx
