I hope you can make it Pami. Why don't you have bonfire party the week after?

I guess that's me back at Aitches again then... unless Nick decides to build an extension LOL
Couldn't think of a decent signature, so this'll have to do. |

Forgot to say. When I spoke to Nick earlier he was very excited about meeting up with people again next year. He thought that we were a good bunch and he
really enjoyed the weekend. Nice eh!

How many rooms are there at The Fleece. Are they all taken now?
Don't say James has to spend some more time with our favourite landlord at Aitches?

Seven Rooms and yes seems like they are all taken. There are other B & B's and also the Fleece cottage if there were five of you who wanted that. He
reminded me today that he would be happy to rent it and it would probably work out cheaper than the Fleece itself. So if there are five of you who wanna share
just let him know.
£130.50 for two nights per property. Divided by 5 would be £26.10 each (bloody hell). And I'm sure he'd be happy to serve brekky at Fleece if you arrange it with him.

Crikey, that cottage sounds like a right bargain when you think of it like that! Plus, if we charge for admittance to the afterparty too then who knows, we
might well end up in profit :-P. Who's up for that then?

I'm doing it in 5 star luxury next year - booked in for the Friday and Saturday in the Bronte Suite.

I have just e-mailed Nick at the Fleece about whether he would allow Jack at the cottage - fingers crossed dogs are allowed! If so, then it'll be me and
Papa plus Jack coming to Haworth next year. Snaps, if we are successful in booking the cottage, would you and Mrs Snaps plus doggy friend like to share with
us?
P.S. I can thoroughly recommend the Old White Lion for those who are pondering where to stay next year - great ambience, lovely staff, fantastic food and comfy beds. KBSkyLady wrote: Sky, I'm really in a quandary as to what to do with my dog, Jasper. I'm sure that this time next year he'll be a very different dog, but at the moment he's not good at being left on his own for more than an hour or so (substitute "barks incessantly") - although he's crated, so isn't destructive - and he's aggressive towards other dogs. He's potentially going to be better with other sighthounds, so may be fine with Jack, but I wouldn't want to run the risk of him ruining your stay or upsetting little Jack. I'm doing intensive training with him, with the help of a behaviourist, but there's no guarantee that he'll be a changed lad this time next year. We're thinking that maybe it would be better if we kennelled him for the weekend, and that way we wouldn't worry about what to do with him while we're in the pub and whether he'll be well behaved with other dogs. I really don't want to put him in kennels, but don't want to run the risk in any way of spoiling your weekend. Basically, thank you so much for thinking about us, but we remain so undecided, that you best go ahead and book for yourselves.

Snaps, I really do understand your quandry. So for now we will see what replies we get from Nick and the dog friendly B&B and book acccordingly. But hopefully you two will be coing again next year.
