I'm looking for a monospaced font that I will like for some work I'm doing. I want something that looks fairly blocky. In fact, I wouldn't mind if
not the cell widths but the actual letter widths were almost constant. There is a font called Eurostile that I really like, and I think it would be really good
for this purpose, except that it isn't monospace.
Is there software that will "monospace" a font? That is, change the width of the cell used by the characters, without changing the glyphs themselves? Or is that perhaps not a good idea-does it throw off some of the aesthetics of the fonts somehow if you do that?
