Release a Blu-Ray of a live performance of a washing machine.

As much I'd love remasters or DVDs a new album would definitely trump everything... I just figure that it's more likely we'll see some sort of
retrospective/remastered release before we even hear about a new album.

I couldn't care less for remasters or DVD's, and a new album feels a little....too soon. So I voted 'nothing'.
I was in this prematurely air-conditioned supermarket and there were all these aisles and
there were these bathing caps that you could buy

Gee, I want a live performance. I never saw her on stage. I want to see her on stage.
Re-mastering good old albums is like photoshopping Mona Lisa. |

Live performance without a doubt. |

A new album please. I want a new aural lover to discover...
Failing that, a lithograph of a washing machine. On a very high cycle. |

You want a new oral lover ?
I would prefer a live performance. I have too many lovers already. Re-mastering good old albums is like photoshopping Mona Lisa. |

New album, definitely!!! I actually want to experience what it's like to anticipate a new CD (I haven't had the joy of this as I only became aware of
KT in 2007)!
I'm not too fussed on remasters, unlike a lot of people here...and I know Kate doesn't seem to dwell too much on past projects either - so I think a new album is a win-win situation!!! :-D And/or a live concert would be the cherry on top - I would fly ANYWHERE to see her live! I guess an album and a live performance would (hopefully) go hand in hand so I wouldn't mind if she didn't do any of the back catalogue in a live
performance.
Just to see her live would be great (Australia might be a little tricky to justify without the lure of a holiday at the same time) |

piginapoke, sady for us, Kate's new albums never goes hand in hand with a live performance. I don't know if there were any concerts following the issue
of Aerial. I don't know if she really made a concert of her own since 1980, in fact. I just know she is famous for her long absence from stage.
That's why I would prefer a live performance to a new album, even if I were glad to hear a new album indeed. Re-mastering good old albums is like photoshopping Mona Lisa. |

piginapoke wrote: Kate's only tour was in 1979, so here's hoping for a 30th anniversary tour haha! For some reason though I think if she did decide to tour, I don't think Australia would be the last place she would tour - I remember reading Rob Jovanovic's bio of KT where he said Kate quite liked Australia indeed... I'd like to see Kate publishing a book of poems. I've got no idea whether she writes poetry or not. It just struck me, when I was commenting on her
wonderful Joycean lyrics from 'Sensual World' in my 'Rolling the Ball' introduction, that she might have a talent for it. Of course, poetic
lyrics often don't work as well when written down and unaccompanied by music. I don't know a great deal about Kate - I haven't read any fan
magazines or biographies, I just love her music - but I think I read somewhere that she was into Gurdjeff at one time. She strikes me as someone who's
deep, with a lot of interests, and I feel she'd have plenty to say through the medium of poetry - not that I'd want it to be at the expense of her
music!
You came to me in a dream, and I said, "We can't go on meeting like this".

I think she should make a new cookie receipt. I'm sure her new cookies would taste even better than the last ones she made.

What ever she wants to I suppose.
But other than that a live tour BUT with no backing tracks or musicians and only a piano. That would be brilliant. |

I think Kate should record a double album with Metallica. It may sound like this...
